Maybridge hires James Box to oversee US combinatorial chemical and screening business

Maybridge has announced the appointment of James Box as US business manager Box's responsibilities include managing all west coast business development initiatives, driving marketing campaigns, and acting as a technical resource for clients in the USA

The presence of a west coast-based business manager provides new and existing customers with a local point of contact, and says the company further exemplifies Maybridge's dedication to supporting growth of its target US markets.

Additionally, within the drug discovery and medicinal chemistry markets, Box will seek opportunities to more fully develop the Maybridge Research Unit (MRU) business.

"With the massive business potential that exists on the west coast, it is essential that Maybridge appoints a strategically-located manager to help us maximise those opportunities," said Nick Kerton, chief executive officer.

"James's commercial background in selling fine and specialty chemicals to the life science sector provides him with a vital edge for supporting our customers and developing the market potential for our products and services.

We are pleased to have him as part of the team." Originally from Alabama and now based in San Diego, Box most recently held positions with Sentra/Spelman as a financial advisor, and with Comgenex in sales, marketing and business development.
