Compounds assist malaria drug development
MRC researchers achieve a significant hit-rate when using screening compounds in a novel high throughput screening (HTS) assay designed to identify potential anti-malaria agents
Customers experiencing bottlenecks in library production or requiring additional building blocks to drive high-throughput chemistry programmes will benefit from the service.
The programme can include scaffold/core production from gram to multi kilogram scale, library validation, including design where appropriate, and process development up to the multi kilogram scale.
Furthermore, Maybridge can offer R1 decoration of scaffolds to generate smaller R1 libraries of up to 50 members, up to the 50g range.
On request, the programme can include design consultation, with a medicinal chemistry perspective on building block design.
Maybridge says it has broad expertise in synthesis of high quality compounds, with extensive experience in cutting edge building block chemistry (40 years of heterocyclic experience and 120,000 in-house protocols).
