In line with its philosophy of 'making meaningful measurements', Meritics has added Spectrex's range of liquid particle counters to its particle characterisation product portfolio
The Spectrex range includes the PC-2200 liquid particle counter which counts and sizes particles in containers such as glass bottles, or uses a flow through cell for on line applications A wide range of applications have been successfully undertaken including pharmaceutical manufacturing, water treatment, oil refineries, silts and sediments, vial and ampoule inspection
Spectrex SuperCount software provides a range of data outputs and includes total suspended solids calculations, Phi classifications and hydraulic oil classifications (NAS, SAE,ISO).
With the Beckman Coulter particle characterisation products, MTS online particle sizing and imaging range, and the Matec particle size and zeta potential systems, Meritics says it now has a comprehensive range of solutions to almost any particle sizing problem.
