Feeling highly charged?
Zeta potential analyser also measures pH, conductivity, and temperature to provide a comprehensive way of studying the stability of dispersed phases
The measurement of particle charge, or zeta potential, is a critical requirement in the understanding of the stability of suspensions and emulsions The ESA 9800 zeta potential analyser by Matec provides a comprehensive way of studying the stability of dispersed phases by measuring not only the zeta potential, but also the pH, conductivity, and temperature in systems with up to 40% by volume in the dispersed phase
Measurements can be made on line or in flowing /stirred systems if required, and the patented acoustic technique eliminated the tedious and time consuming set ups required by more conventional microelectrophoresis methods.
The ESA 9800 is now available in the UK through Meritics, which will also be handling the Matec APS 100 and CHDF 2000 particle size measuring systems.
