Meritics has added the new Universal Liquid Module II (ULM II) to its Beckman Coulter LS 13 320 laser diffraction particle size analyser demonstration fleet

Designed to enable materials to be suspended in a wide range of fluids including alcohols, esters, oils and other organic fluids as well as water the ULM II extends the range of samples that can be analysed using the LS range With an optional ultrasonic probe, the ULM II offers additional flexibility in sample preparation

Beckman Coulter's patented PIDS optical enhancement provides reliable, reproducible measurements in the nanometre size range making the 13 320 ideal for characterising many nanomaterials.

Coupled with the patented Tornado dry powder sample module Beckman Coulter's LS range provides a way of analysing almost any sample quickly and without prior knowledge of the sample size distribution.
