Silver nanoparticles subject of inhalation study

A Meritics product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jun 18, 2008

The study carried out at the Korean Environment and Merchandise Testing Institute (KEMTI) was part of a NanoSafety project and looked at effects over a range of concentrations of nanoparticles

A recent publication detailing studies on inhalation of silver nanoparticles from 65nm down to 2nm detailed the use of the HCT range of airborne particle sizers and inhalation chambers currently available in the UK from Meritics.

With increasing concern over the potential environmental impact of nanoparticles, the HCT range of instruments are ideally suited for such research studies.

Further details on the study and the HCT range of particle sizers, collectors and generators are available from Meritics .
