Zeta potential measured by acoustic attenuation

A Meritics product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jul 14, 2008

Matec Applied Sciences has now released two new instruments for measuring zeta potential on samples up to 60%v/v, using acoustic attenuation technology

Following on from the launch of its ZetaAPS combined zeta potential and particle sizing system earlier this year, Matec's Zeta500 provides zeta potential/mobility measurements, with particle size correction, quickly and easily.

Designed to be equally at home in the laboratory or a plant environment, the Zeta500 can be used for both aqueous and non aqueous dispersions, and with the optional auto-titrator, complete pH profiles and Iso Electric Point determinations.

A second instrument, the Zeta Finder, offers a lower cost option including using the sensor as a 'dip' sensor for measurements in stand alone containers.

Matec products are available from Meritics and form part of an extensive range of particle characterisation solutions it has assembled.
