Fully automated water analysis

The 730 autosampler from Metrohm is aimed at environmental monitoring, and allows the following a number of different parameters to be analysed using a single sample at the touch of a button

The 730 autosampler can be used to determine conductivity, pH, p- and m- alkalinity, chloride, and calcium and magnesium hardness The sample is placed in vessels on the 730 carousal, and up to 126 samples may be tested in a single run

The sample pH and conductivity are first monitored before accurately pipetting out portions for the subsequent analysis.

The whole system is controlled using TiNET 2.4 software ensuring ease of use and full results archiving.

After each set of analysis the electrode systems are thoroughly washed using the Metrohm patented 'Spin rinse' mechanism ensuring no carry out.

All results are sent to the previously selected database, where they may be open to inspection at any time.

The 730 may also be adapted to various other environmental applications including chemical oxygen demand ( COD), fluoride, and dissolved oxygen, among others.

This makes the 730 the true workhorse of any environmental testing laboratory. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
