Potentiometric titrators
Two new Titrino autotitrators have been introduced by Metrohm, which build upon the success of the 716 and 702 Titrinos
The 719 SET Titrino is the 'baby brother' of the Titrino family, allowing users an economical easy to use introduction into autotitration The 719 is capable of end-point titration for acid / base and redox applications

Determination of lactic acid in milk and associated dairy products is an extremely common laboratory application and has key product quality control use in a modern dairy
It is equipped with method storage capabilities and is also compatible with existing Metrohm automation equipment.
Like all Titrinos the 719 is compact, taking up just one A4 footprint.
The function of the instrument are easily accessible via the keypad, and in many instances, eg for plant operation this keypad may be removed rendering corruption of methods impossible and consequently ease of use by just a single keystroke.
The 719 SET Titrino is a powerful end-point titrator with an optional conditioning routine.
Two end-points can be set per titration, and the calculation formulae are freely programmable.
The two electrode inputs can be converted to high impedance differential amplifier for non-aqueous titration if so desired.
The programmable polarisers allow biamperometric (dead stop) or bivoltametric titrations without any additional hardware. The built in bi-directional RS232 interface allows connection of a PC for data processing or as a link to a laboratory data system, eg LIMS.
The Metrodata 719 menu software program allows full communication with the 719 as well as securing data for GLP documentation.
The 719 is also capable of printer connection.
With a balance connected, automatic transfer of weights reduces entry errors by operators.
On top of this the 719 SET Titrino can be used to measure pH, mV, temperature, Ipol, and Upol.
The main areas of application for the 719 SET Titrino are within plant laboratories, QC laboratories, the water and food industry for the following types of analysis: acid/base, p and m alkalinities, chloride, reducing sugars, bromine numbers, vitamin C etc. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
