The compact design of the 821 Online IC allows accurate analysis of anions with and without suppression as well as cations down to the lower ppb range The 821 is available as a single channel system and includes an industrial standard PC, an interruption-free current supply with approximately 45 minutes back up, a modem for remote maintenance, software with control cards for measuring results, calibrations and performance checks as well as for controlling the analysis and the 10 channel sample valve
Metrohm's new range of IC columns allow difficult demanding applications to be separated isocratically; e.g low ppb concentrations of various cations in the presence of high (7ppm) concentration of ETA, which is a typical nuclear power plant application and notoriously difficult to perform.
