A "pH Electrode" for Glass Breakers
The LL antimony electrode is a combined metal electrode which can be used for pH titrations.
The LL antimony electrode is a combined metal electrode which can be used for pH titrations It is the ideal electrode for difficult media with which the glass membrane of a conventional electrode cannot cope
Such media are for example solutions containing hydrofluoric acid or fluoride, strongly hygroscopic media or solutions causing precipitates on the electrode surface.
If necessary, the LL antimony electrode can be calibrated with conventional pH buffer solutions.
The zero point of the electrode is around -366 mV.
Therefore it is strongly recommended to use a pH meter such as 713 pH Meter or 692 pH/Ion meter which can compensate the zero point of the electrode with an offset value Uas = -366 mV. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
