Ion chromatography separation centre
Provides the thermal and electrical protection for the wet-chemistry part of ion chromatography analysis and contains all analytical components except pumps
The IC Separation Centre provides the thermal and electrical protection for the wet-chemistry part of ion chromatography analysis The stable polyurethane housing ensures temperature stability; the electrically conducting lacquer finish and the metal network built into the housing provide an effective shield against electromagnetic radiation

With the exception of the pumps all the analytical components are contained in the IC Separation Centre.
Precolumns, separating columns, preconcentration columns, detectors, pulsation dampeners, the MSM Metrohm Suppressor Module and valves therefore work under steady and constant ambient conditions.
Only the optimal shielding of the 733 IC Separation Centre guarantees the optimal signal-to-noise behavior of the measurements.
The control electronics are located outside the 733 IC Separation Centre and in this way are protected against moisture.
The version 0130 of the IC Separation Centre already contain the Metrohm Suppressor Module.
This is mainly used for chemical suppression in the analysis of anions.
The three micro packed-bed suppressors located in a rotor are characterised by their high capacity, long working life and simple handling: one suppressor is used in the analytical circuit, the second is regenerated with dilute sulfuric acid while the third is rinsed with deionized water.
The suppressor is moved on one step after each analysis so that a freshly regenerated suppressor is always available.
The reproducibility is excellent - no differentiation can be made between the individual suppressors in the analysis.
Metrohm is now offering a ten year warranty on all suppressors purchased in 2003. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
