Ten year warranty on IC suppressor

Metrohm guarantees the perfect functioning of the chemical MSM anion suppressor for a period of ten years

Metrohm guarantees the perfect functioning of the chemical MSM anion suppressor for a period of ten years This warranty period is a result of extremely favourable experiences made with the Metrohm Suppressor Module (MSM)

The company says its customers have shown that it is almost impossible to damage the MSM rotor and its suppressor bed if used in the correct way according to the instructions for use.

The MSM is fully solvent-compatible as well as resistant to high acid concentrations.

This allows all types of regenerant solutions, ranging from the standard 100 mmol/l sulphuric acid to quite concentrated mixtures such as oxalic acid/sulphuric acid/acetone.

It is extremely pressure-resistant with an overpressure safety valve function.

This prevents the MSM as well as the remaining system from damage due to overpressure (>2 MPa).

The reproducibility of the results acquired with the MSM is described as 'outstanding'.

Due to its micro-packed-bed design using a very high capacity cation exchanger, the additional dead volume is minimal.

There is no additional band broadening.

The unique design also keeps the baseline stable.

The amount of additional noise due to the suppressor is minimal.

This allows to reach extremely low detection limits.

All these points result in an extremely versatile and rugged product that is easy to handle, performs superbly and demands very little maintenance.

And the replacement of the suppressor, if ever required, is free of charge. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
