Product category: Titration equipment
News Release from: Metrohm UK | Subject: 835/836 Titrando
Edited by the Laboratorytalk Editorial Team on 02 December 2003

Titrator is a modular all-rounder

Potentiometric titration and moisture analysis, plus CFR 21 part 11 compliance in a single instrument that can be extended to form a super-titrator

The basic unit consists of a 835/836 Titrandowith one measuring interface This basic unit can be extended to form a super-titrator that controls 12 burets and boasts six galvanically-separated measuring interfaces

In addition to the potentiometric titration modes SET, DET and MET, the 835/836 Titrandos come with a special Karl Fischer mode for moisture analysis, whose sophisticated control algorithm, combined with the increased volume resolution of Megtrohm's intelligent exchange units, guarantees highly precise results.

Thanks to its modular concept the Titrando system can be optimally adapted to any application.

Touch control or mouse click? No matter whether you operate the Titrando with the touch control or via a PC and a mouse - both appearance and operation are practically identical.

Methods and determinations are 100% compatible.

The system's operator guidance can be regarded as exemplary.

Intelligent dosing.

The new dosing and exchange units are said to set new standards with regard to reliability.

Intelligence in the form of an inconspicuous data chip makes it possible.

This chip is present in every new exchange and dosing unit.

The Titrando automatically reads from it all the data (type of reagent, titer, last titer determination and much more) that it needs to carry out the titration properly.

If you want to connect your Titrando system directly to a superordinate data system there is nothing in the way: Lab Link opens up internal networks to the Titrando and makes it internet-compatible, with all that this implies.

Automation pays dividends.

Increasing sample numbers, time-consuming sample preparation steps and unattended overnight operation are good reasons for using sample changers.

The 835 and 836 Titrandos have the necessary intelligence to control sample changers.

The Titrando system meets the requirements of FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
