Dedicated determination in soft drinks

Dedicated ion chromatograph is specifically for phosphoric acid determination in soft drinks and its precursors

In collaboration with the soft drink industry, Metrohm has developed the 761 SD Compact IC - a dedicated ion chromatograph, specific for phosphoric acid determination in soft drinks and its precursors The result is a fast, reliable method with maximum accuracy and reproducibility

In the 761 SD Compact IC all hardware and chemistries are specially optimised for the soft drink application - the analysis of phosphoric acid.

This includes a specific eluent and column package that is proven to increase reproducibility and accuracy, all the while minimising sample prep and operator time and effort.

The 761 SD Compact IC is truly a turn-key system, says Metrohm.

Pre-packaged MPak eluent ensures quality, consistency, day to day and lab to lab operation.

The MSM II Suppresor gives linear phosphate calibration through the targeted range.

The Metrosep A Supp 1 HS analytical column provides phosphate resolution in a 3.5 minute analysis without interferences.

MCal standards cover the operating range of the various soft drink samples and precursors.

Included IC Net 2.3 and IC Cap software gives simple operation and convenient data export in a tailored data sharing and reporting format for simplicity.

With the new soft drink method for phosphoric acid, it virtually eliminates sample preparation for the non-carbonated samples and requires only sample degassing prior to injection on the carbonated samples. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
