Samples filtered and titrated
automatically

After homogenisation a sample aliquot is aspirated at the other work station by a syringe and filtered into a 11ml vessel via a current syringe filter (Luer connection)

Metrohm's new 815 Robotic Filtration Soliprep offers the fast and comfortable homogenisation and filtration of solid samples The rack accommodates up to 24 samples, to which solvent can be added and whose particle size can be reduced

The built-in membrane pump adds any aqueous solvents required, while an additional Dosino can be used for adding organic solvents.

This is followed by particle size reduction with the Polytron 1300 D, whose cutting tool is available with or without protruding cutters.

During the further preparation steps the Polytron's cutting tool is cleaned at the external rinsing station.

Insoluble solid components are aspirated simply and rapidly with the 772 pump unit.

The Dosino used for sample transfer feeds the sample at a uniform rate through the filter, which results in optimal filtration.

Syringe needle and filter are exchanged for each sample and dropped into the waste container after use.

After the series the support for the 11ml vessels can be removed from the sample rack and the samples transferred to the analytical instrument, for example an IC.

The whole preparation system is completely controlled by Tiamo software, whose database documents the individual preparation steps performed on each sample.

The Robotic Soliprep family comprises three packages that cover different sample preparation steps.

The core of the system always is the 815 Robotic USB Sample Processor XL, which is equipped with the accessories required for the sample preparation concerned. Request a free brochure from Metrohm UK ...
