Materials characterisation is an important part of biological safety testing It is used to reduce animal testing, eliminate unsuitable materials and to provide quality control on raw materials

It is expected that part 18 of ISO10993 (Chemical Characterisation of Materials) will be published early in 2003.

Medical Engineering Technologies can provide a wide variety of materials characterisation testing and provide advice on what testing is required.
