Sterilisation indicators range expanded
Self-contained biological indicators for steam and EO processes as well as dry-block incubators added to range of sterilisation monitoring products
Medical Engineering Technologies (Met) has expanded its range of sterilisation monitoring products with the addition of self-contained biological indicators for steam and EO processes as well as dry-block incubators The new PS series of BI ampoules is available as 1ml and 4ml vials, population 104 to 106 and provides a read-out after only 48 hours of incubation
Growth is made evident by either turbidity and/or a colour change.
The SCR series consists of plastic containers hosting a crushable glass ampoule with spore strip and culture medium.
Readout is possible after only 24 hours for steam and 48 hours for EO.
Dry-block incubators with a 12-well rack allowing for full viewing of all units at a glance further complete the range.
Also available are culturing, D-value measurement and other microbiology work.
