Multifunctional measuring instrument
Mettler Toledo's new X-matePro is a multifunctional, portable, measuring instrument, capable of recording up to 10 different parameters using one hand-held base unit
The modular concept of the X-matePro means that different sensors can be used to measure pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, TDS, salinity, redox potential, ion concentration, mv, temperature and humidity The unit has an in-built automatic sensor recognition function, which means changing from one parameter to another is quick and easy - the operator simply changes the sensor

The X-matePro will prove to be an indispensable instrument for environmental monitoring, research, industry and education.
It has it's own battery power supply and is waterproof to IP67 so is suitable for even the roughest outdoor conditions.
In addition, automatic temperature compensation ensures that temperature changes do not affect results.
The data logger mode allows the user to leave the meter to take automatic readings at intervals from one minute to twenty-four hours.
Up to 199 measurements of each parameter can be stored, together with date, time and ID number.
Results are then downloaded via a PC or to a printer.
Calibration of the unit is easy - the user is guided through the process in a series of simple steps which ensure use of correct measurement procedures and reliable measurement results.
For pH there is a selection of six buffer sets, one of which can be freely programmed by the user.
The X-matePro can be upgraded via its unique microprocessor, and datemate software is available from the internet for free download.
Three versions of the X-MatePro are currently available, each come with a durable field case: the 'Mono-mate' is a basic level instrument with a pH electrode for standard pH measurements; the 'Trio-mate' comes complete with sensors for pH, conductivity and oxygen measurements; and the 'Poly-mate' which has space to take five sensors that can be ordered separately from a wide choice of parameters.
