Refractive index testing made easy
As part of its PortableLab range, Mettler Toledo has launched a new portable refractometer, Refracto, which makes measuring refractive index quick and error free.
pRefracto can be used as a hand-held meter or bench-top unit The instrument can either be placed on a flat surface and a drop of sample added onto the measurement cell, or the cell can be dipped straight into the sample

Mettler Toledo's Quick-Brix portable refractometer is available in two versions, the Quick-Brix 60 for fruit and vegetable growers and the Quick-Brix 90 for drink and food manufacturing
Results are given in seconds and are available in a wide variety of units with automatic temperature compensation.
