Mettler Toledo has added a Profibus PA interface to a selected range of its analytical process instruments including conductivity, pH, and dissolved oxygen meters
Mettler Toledo has introduced a new feature to transmitters from its analytical process instrument range.
A Profibus PA interface, which specifically meets the requirements of the process industry, is now available on selected conductivity, pH, and dissolved oxygen transmitters.
Profibus is the leading fieldbus for process automation and is suitable for a variety of applications.
The new additions are appropriate for use in hazardous areas as they comply with the Fisco (Fieldbus Intrinsically Safe Concept) model.
The new system is cost efficient, saves time and provides economical process automation through real-time digital transmission of data.
All the instruments have a large, clearly arranged LCD and a pictographic front panel keyboard to allow simple control of all transmitter functions.
