Safer system for testing solutions

Those testing solutions such as coolants, acid baths, solvents or lubricants are probably using a portable refractometer These instruments provide fast and accurate results but are often reliant on operator interpretation and involve placing chemicals close to the eyes - raising a health and safety issue
In response to customer demands Mettler Toledo has developed the Refracto 30PX portable refractometer.
Refracto is described as quick and error free.
Just place a few drops on to the cell or even dip it in to the sample, push the button and in seconds receive a refractive index reading with temperature displayed digitally.
Results are given in seconds and are available in a wide variety of units.
