Mettler Toledo has introduced its XP105 analytical balance for quantifying the purity of sugar in a laboratory environment.

The XP105 balance is said to reduce the risk of errors and increase efficiency, and is complemented by the LabX balance PC software.

It has a 100g capacity and readability of 0,01mg, and comes with Smartsens - a feature that enables weighing operations without touching the balance.

This balance also presents the operator with clear instructions on the touch screen of the balance, reducing the risk of errors and increasing efficiency by guiding the operator through the weighing process, including the verification of sample IDs.

The PC LabX balance software can be configured to guide users through processes described in the operator's SOP using customisable dialogue displayed on the balance's colour touch screen.
