Clinical microscopes promise ultimate comfort
Ergonomically designed for prolonged use in clinical screening, these microscopes have some of the most advanced optics available to provide superior contrast, brightness, and resolution
Olympus UIS2 optics have been developed using an array of novel technologies to meet the diverse and demanding needs of today's microscopy, ensuring visual comfort.
The BX2 series of microscopes are ergonomically designed and are therefore perfect for prolonged use such as in clinical screening, says the company.
Combining the BX2 series with UIS2, Olympus says it is setting a new standard for clinical inspection microscopes: efficient work, reliable results and peerless comfort.
The Olympus UIS2 objectives are the said to be the most advanced available, providing superior contrast, brightness and resolution resulting in superb clarity.
With plan correction as a minimum standard, they provide excellent field flatness and improved colour matching, allowing faster screening of stained specimens with significantly reduced eye strain, says Olympus.
The UIS2 optics deliver excellent results in clinical observation methods, such as bright field or phase contrast.
Moreover, the UIS2 optics transmit fluorescent signals with an unequalled signal-to-noise ratio and are therefore ideal for fluorescence observations from near-UV to near-IR.
The Olympus BX2 microscopes are designed to enable users to fully benefit from Olympus's ergonomic approach and the high optical performance of the UIS2 optics.
The BX2 range comprises both ready-made systems for routine clinical work, and flexible open systems which can be expanded with growing demands.
Whichever system is chosen, the UIS2 optics are described as ideal for a wide range of imaging procedures and are particularly well suited to clinical screening.
