Miptec-Icar preview: Micronic

A series of new products is to be announced by sample storage specialist at Miptec-Icar, 27-30 May in Basle, Switzerland

Micronic will be demonstrating and discussing the latest innovative products and applications associated with sample storage and liquid handling It is launching the DeCapper, a system that automatically removes and disposes of the caps from a full 96-tube rack in less than ten seconds

Simply integrated into automation systems, the DeCapper should increase productivity by eliminating what was previously a tedious manual operation.

In addition Micronic will be displaying its entire coded tube system range including for the first time in Europe - the Robo-Rack, a 96-position sample tube storage rack.

For the more demanding sample storage applications such as those in low or non-uniform lighting or dusty environments, the complete range of Traxis coded tubes, racks, piercable sealing systems, tube readers and software will be available for demonstration.

For those using the data matrix coding system, the Tracker-DM range of coded tubes, software, and high speed reading systems will be on display.
