Safe storage of larger volume samples

Micronic has announced a range of Macro tubes and lids for sample volumes larger than 1ml, such as may be found in agrochemical, food, veterinary and clinical laboratories

For convenience Micronic 2.5ml and 7.5ml Macro tubes come pre-filled in Society for Biomolecular Screening (SBS) standard footprint racks.

Accommodating 96 (2.5ml) or 24 (7.5ml) individual tubes in the industry standard configuration ensures Macro tubes are fully compatible with all automated sample handling systems and enables significant gains in productivity to be routinely achieved.

Typical storage applications for Macro tubes includes plants and seeds, tissue samples from veterinary and food laboratories, samples from high volume automated chemical reactions as well as providing an easily automated vessel for making dilutions above 1ml in a 96-well system Manufactured in state-of-the-art automated clean-room production facilities, to industry-leading tolerances, Macro tubes are completely free from additives or leachates ensuring the integrity of your stored samples.

Produced from only top quality medical grade polyethylene or polypropylene, Macro tubes also offer high chemical resistance and long-term reliability even at ultra-low storage temperatures.

A selection of non-coded and 2D coded Macro tubes are available to cater for almost any larger volume sample storage requirement.
