Getting started in low temperature
sample storage

Micronic has introduced a new starter pack for laboratories looking to implement high integrity, traceable storage of samples in freezers and vapour phase liquid nitrogen below -80C

The new low temperature storage starter pack includes a selection of screw top tubes (0.5ml, 1.1ml and 1.4ml) to suit most low temperature sample storage applications Incorporating a novel 'single turn' capping mechanism, accessing and securing samples in a Micronic screw top tube is said to be a simple and rapid process

To prevent tubes from rotating during opening and closing each screw top tube includes a novel anti-twist feature.

A unique two-dimensional code on the bottom of each tube provides an easy and unambiguous means of storing and identifying samples.

To optimise use of valuable freezer storage space, 96 individual tubes can be stored in a single Micronic rack.

Micronic Starter Packs contain everything needed to start using 2D coded (or non-coded) sample storage tubes enabling laboratory workers to ensure a secure sample logistics system and eliminate the costly possibility of false sample identities.

The attractively priced low temperature storage starter pack contains an easy-to-use tube scanner, operating software, a case of racked screw top tubes and caps, a screw cap remover and a manual tube selector.

The Starter Pack offers a substantial saving over buying the products individually.

Coming from a world leader in traceable sample storage the quality of supplied goods is second to none and all components design optimised to provide top performance.

Manufactured in a modern class 7 clean room production facility - Micronic screw top tubes are certified RNase / DNase free and non-toxic, according to the USP class VI test, making them the ideal secure medium for storage of liquid or solid biological samples at low temperatures.
