Latest developments in dewpoint measurement
The market is soon likely to see the introduction of a full range of humidity sensors designed to provide the exact level of function, flexibility and manual control required in each application.
It increases the Optidew's measurement range to +130C dew point and temperature.
The high temperature Optidew sensor can be used to meet the rigorous demands of dew-point measurement in drying processes and other elevated temperature gas applications.
The construction and design of the sensor means it can provide accurate, repeatable and reliable measurements where previous cooled-mirror sensors have been unable to perform.
Together with its high temperature optics, Peek optics mounting ring, viton O-rings and ingress rating to IP66, the high temperature Optidew sensor can be used in installations where corrosion resistance and the ability to survive caustic wash-down or autoclave cleaning procedures are a real advantage.
The whole sensor is hermetically sealed, so that no contaminant or moisture from the environment under test can damage the electronic components within.
At the same time, access to the optics ports and mirror surface is easy, to allow periodic cleaning as and when required.
The sensor is fitted as standard with a stainless steel mirror, giving the highest level of resistance against corrosion in demanding applications.
Michell's cooled mirror dew point measurement technology is renowned for its accuracy, stability and ease of use in laboratory and calibration applications.
The Optidew cooled mirror range includes the Optidew Transmitter, a state of the art digital dewpoint transmitter, and Optidew Vision, a precision dewpointmeter with display. Request a free brochure from Michell Instruments ...
