Dewpointmeter is ideal for measuring lab
humidity
The Optidew Vision has been designed for the user who needs the high accuracy, repeatability and stability of a cooled mirror instrument coupled with value for money
Its bench-top format with carry handle and optional panel-mounting kit, combined with the convenient sensor probe design with cable length up to 30 metres, means that Optidew Vision is perfect for laboratory humidity or moisture measurement applications, says Michell Instruments The Optidew Vision precision dewpointmeter works on the proven, fundamental optical dew point measurement principle, giving unmatched and drift-free long-term performance

New applications for cooled mirror dew point meter
The Optidew cooled mirror dew point meter offered by Michell Instruments can now be used for a wide variety of applications due to its increased cable length of up to 250 metres
Humidity measurement: accurate, stable, repeatable
The Probe Connector series (PC series) is the latest range of relative humidity (RH) products developed by Michell's associated company, Rense, and provides a solution for many applications
It offers a wide measurement range from the equivalent of less than 0.5% up to 100%RH at ambient temperatures from -40 to +90C.
Optidew Vision provides a high definition alphanumeric display of the measured humidity, dewpoint, water activity, grams per kilogram and a number of other hydrometric units.
In addition the Optidew Vision provides two linear mA outputs and serial communications, allowing set-up and monitoring by a suitable computer or PLC system or via specific Optidew Vision logging software.
Optidew Vision's sensor is capable of withstanding even the most demanding industrial conditions, while retaining the performance and sensitivity of a high-level reference hygrometer.
Yet it is simple to use: just by connecting the instrument and powering it up, the Optidew Vision is ready to operate.
The sensor is designed to work hard with a corrosion-resistant gold plated mirror and stable, state-of-the-art optics.
The display unit is provided in a smart bench-top housing with ergonomic carry handle and an optional panel-mounting kit is available for permanent control room installations.
Optidew Vision is the latest dewpointmeter in a long line of products that have placed Michell at the forefront in the provision of precise, stable and reliable dew-point meters for metrology and industry, says the company.
As long ago as 1984, Michell sold its first such hygrometer to the National Physical Laboratory as part of their new National Humidity Standard.
Since then, laboratory scientists and process engineers world-wide have benefited from Michell's expertise in the manufacture of these precision test instruments. Request a free brochure from Michell Instruments ...
