Combining recorder, multimeter and oscilloscope functions in one compact unit, this unit is said to be ideal for many industrial and electrical trouble-shooting or maintenance applications

All functions on the Sefram DAS 1200 are accessed and configured using the simple menu press buttons The unit has two fully isolated universal inputs for DC or true RMS (AC+DC) voltage and thermocouple signals, which are rated to IEC 61010, Cat III, 600V safety standards

Eight additional low-voltage digital inputs are designed for logical signals.

All these signals can be viewed simultaneously on the built-in TFT screen and recorded in memory.

The recorder features the same sophisticated acquisition and trigger modes provided on Sefram's high-end models.

A 1MHz sampling rate, 14-bit resolution and 1Mb internal memory enables high performance signal analysis.

The data storage can be extended to 512Mb, or more, using plug-in Compact Flash memory cards.

In auto-ranging multimeter mode, the DAS 1200 can display two different measurements - e.g voltage and frequency - for each of the independently isolated input channels.

The safety oscilloscope features automatic set up and similar computation, cursor measurement, and display zoom facilities as its recorder mode.

Available now from Metrix Electronics, the DAS 1200 weighs only 1kg and can be battery powered for portability.

It also has a built-in serial interface to output data to a PC, or directly to a printer.
