Scale-up separations, fast

Chromatography columns add speed and versatility to purification for biopharmaceutical manufacturers wanting to maximise process yields, boost productivity, and shorten time to market

Biopharmaceutical manufacturers increasingly require tools that maximise process yields, boost productivity, and shorten time to market To meet these demands, the scalable family of QuikScale columns delivers greater purity at faster linear velocities than columns currently used in most pharmaceutical processes

The QuikScale columns feature a simple and effective seal design and optimised flow distribution for reliable, fail-safe operation.

To improve productivity, the new column design minimises maintenance and allows clean-in-place (CIP) procedures for sanitary operation.

In addition, tool-free column setup and a spring-loaded, air actuated flow distributor ensure packing, processing, and unpacking are performed faster and with less effort than with traditional columns.

QuikScale columns accommodate all media types and handle high operating pressures (up to 7bar) necessary with smaller-particle-size, high-resolution media.

Columns are available in eight diameters, ranging from 70-450mm, and offered in glass, acrylic and forged stainless steel materials.

These features make the columns suitable for use in nearly every application.

Regardless of size or material, all columns are interchangeable for fast turnaround.

Installation kits, an extensive line of accessories and column tube kits complete this versatile product line.

The QuikScale columns have been designed to be used easily with any biochromatography system; however, used with the optimally designed Millipore K-Prime systems, the company says scale-up becomes easier than ever. Request a free brochure from Millipore ...
