Scale-down for biopharmaceutical
production
Tangential flow filtration system provides maximum product recovery of biopharmaceutical products and includes a diaphragm pump to facilitate scale-down studies
Millipore's Cogent M tangential flow filtration (TFF) system is a manual bench top system designed for the purification of biopharmaceutical products up to ten litres The Cogent M system is said to be ideally suited for process development optimisation and scaling studies of vaccines, gene therapy, clotting factors and recombinant protein products
To emulate full-scale production systems, the Cogent M TFF system incorporates a diaphragm pump, rather than the typical peristaltic pump.
This feature enables biopharmaceutical customers to easily conduct scale-down studies.
In addition, the system is completely drainable and designed for clean-in-place (CIP).
Millipore's Cogent M system accommodates from one to five Pellicon2 minicassettes with membrane areas ranging from 0.1m2 to 0.5m2. Request a free brochure from Millipore ...
