Cell signalling symposium for Dundee
Millipore announces that it is sponsoring the fourth annual Cell Signalling Symposium, 2007, to be held August 30 - September 2 at the Apex City Quay Hotel and Spa, Dundee, UK
The symposium is co-sponsored by Millipore and the MRC Protein Phosphorylation Unit at the University of Dundee The focus of this four-day, not-for-profit meeting is 'The interplay between protein phosphorylation and ubiquitination in cell signalling'

Registration is open to all scientists with an interest in cell signalling, drug discovery and disease.
The keynote lecture will be given on Thursday evening, August 30, by Tony Hunter from the Salk Institute of California (USA) on the topic of cell regulation through the interplay of phosphorylation and ubiquitination.
Other leading scientists from around the world also will be presenting at the symposium.
Additionally, the winner of the Millipore Young Cell Signaller 2007 award will be announced at the symposium.
The five finalists are chosen from PhD students and first-time post-doctoratal candidates, who submit abstracts to an experienced scientific panel for judging.
All finalists will present at the symposium.
