Speedy, simple to use, strong,
space-saving system
Powertrack is a standard linear system that unites strength, compact design, precision and speed to provide a solution for applications that make high demands on reliable and efficient positioning
New from Micromech the Powertrack offers exceptionally simple integration being a complete linear system with an integral measuring system, limit switches and linear drive The system does not require a base-plate and can be easily fitted directly to the users infrastructure so that it is truly a 'fit and switch on' system

The components used have been reduced to a minimum making the Powertrack rugged, stable and easy to install.
Although it is very compact, its slim design is not just a space-saver for it is also very powerful.
Designed, developed and patented by Schneeberger the precision rail manufacturer, it incorporates their successful measuring system (AMS) a built in linear encoder arrangement.
By integrating this substantially less complicated system the user clearly has a machine that has high accuracy, high speed and acceleration linear drive that will boost productivity.
It is fast - very fast, and furthermore allows the movement of heavy loads precisely while at maximum speed, yet with the reliability of a Swiss watch movement.
The integral measuring system guarantees exceptionally high accuracy thanks to the superior properties of the measuring system so that it can also achieve exceptionally precise positions at high process speeds.
The excellent dynamic properties and economy are available thanks to the use of proven ball monorail guideways that feature smooth running, low pulsation and low frictional values.
Hard wearing compared with systems containing more moving parts the Powertrack is especially suited to high precision automation and handling equipment.
Due to their modular form these low profile drives can be combined for a variety of high performance x-y applications as well as gantry systems.
A basic version has an analog measuring system (digital version is an option) and linear drive with forces of 700N or 900N.
There are travel lengths available of up to 1800mm, speeds up to 3m/s, nippy acceleration of 50m/s2 max and repeatability of <2microns.
