High performance CCD lenses for area inspection and alignment measurement applications including 300mm wafers, colour filters and liquid crystal glass

Moritex Europe has announced the introduction of new, high performance Macro CCD lenses for area inspection and alignment measurement applications including 300mm wafers, colour filters and liquid crystal glass Based upon proprietary Moritex optical technology, new lenses are available providing outstanding line sensing performance for both 1-inch mega-pixel area CCD and larger area CCD elements up to 57.3mm diameter

Designed at 7.0mm/pixel of pixel CCD element size the numerical aperture of the new Macro CCD lenses is very large and chromatic aberration/ distortion minimal.

Integral focus adjustment provides the flexibility of fine magnification adjustment (0.2X-0.35X or 0.35X-0.5X).

Optional adaptors enable the Macro CCD lenses to be used with a wide range of camera mounts.

The new products were developed to provide the required accuracy required to inspect large area components in high resolution.

Traditionally micro machine lenses for inspection and alignment applications were designed prioritising operational functions such as small size, long working distance, and depth of field.

By contrast Moritex Macro CCD lenses were designed to provide the highest quality resolution for large area precision inspection and imaging applications.
