For 40 years, the German Chemical Society has been working together with experts from colleges and universities as well as the private and public sectors to offer special training courses such as those being offered for the first time ever at this year's Analytica.
Those interested in attending can register online for the society's courses - until March 14.

Molecular Modeling in Drug Research - April 1; Thomas Engel: target group: chemists, biochemists, physicians, informatics specialists in the drug sector of the pharma industry; registration deadline 4 March 2008.
Genetic engineering law: A training course for genetic-engineering project managers and biological safety managers - 1-3 April; Hans Peter Neidhardt; registration deadline 4 March 2008.
Reach - the basics and its meaning to manufacturers and users of chemicals and products - 2 April, Ulrich Schlottmann, target group: employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are implementing Reach and other professionals, registration deadline 5 March 2008.
Health claims regulation 1924/2006 - 2 April, Alfred Hagen Meyer, target group: food industry, marketing departments, advertising agencies, registration deadline 5 March 2008.
How highly productive suppliers in the chemicals industry can acquire and keep customers - 3 April, Andreas Lotz, target group: chemists and nature scientists, specialists and managers who work in business development, marketing, sales and customer-relations management, registration deadline 6 March 2008.
