District sales manager for Scotland and
north-east
National Instruments UK and Ireland has appointed John Wootton as district sales manager for Scotland and north east England
With more than 21 years of experience in the test and measurement industry, John Wootton has gained expert knowledge as a test development engineer working for Marconi Instruments, Thales Optronics and Raytheon Systems Prior to joining NI, he held a number of roles at Agilent Technologies, including business development manager

Wootton holds a BSc in electrical and electronic engineering from University of Strathclyde and an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University.
Born and bred in Scotland, he now lives in Cowdenbeath in Fife.
