Streamlining European operations
Management and administration of European and UK operations to be consoldiated into Nijmegen, Netherlands, operation leaving UK sales and support unchanged
New Brunswick Scientific has announced a plan to streamline its European operations by consolidating the management and administration of its European and United Kingdom sales and service organisations under Gerry Burgers, managing director of the company's continental European operations based in Nijmegen, The Netherlands The current UK sales, sales support and service operations will remain unchanged

The company also plans to consolidate its inventories of ultra-low temperature freezers by establishing new warehousing facilities near its UK freezer production plant.
This should enable the company to more efficiently support its growing freezer business and deliver freezers from stock anywhere in the world, with the added benefit of enhancing its production planning capabilities.
The company will also create a central warehouse for laboratory shakers, fermentation and cell culture equipment at its European headquarters in Nijmegen where additional capacity has recently been added.
James Orcutt, president of New Brunswick Scientific said, "We are looking forward to reaping the benefits of this more efficient management structure, which has been designed to support the company's growing European sales and is intended to improve operating efficiencies while providing enhanced customer service." New Brunswick Scientific designs and manufactures a wide variety of research equipment and scientific instruments for the life sciences and holds a minority equity position in DGI BioTechnologies, a drug lead discovery operation.
