NBS also expanded its Netherlands warehouse and distribution centre, enabling larger inventories of their manufactured laboratory shakers, fermentors and cell culture equipment to be kept on hand, speeding final delivery to their customers.
According to Gerry Burgers, European managing director, "these changes achieve our goal of streamlining European logistics.
"We now have the ability to more quickly respond to our UK and European customer base, as well as have a much larger, more efficient distribution centre for our manufactured goods in the heart of Europe.
"The larger warehouse, centrally located in the Netherlands, supports the entire Continent and can provide quick delivery".
He further noted that "the addition of a second warehouse near its freezer manufacturing plant in the UK means that the company's ultra-low temperature freezers can now be delivered directly to fulfil UK orders - as well as overseas - without having to pass through any additional warehousing system, improving delivery time".
Lastly, Burgers pointed out that while its UK toll-free number remains unchanged, its sales and support office now has a new main phone number and address.
