Digital thermostatic stirrers with acrylic tanks are designed for the immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in a highly stable temperature environment

The newly available NE4-D/CT range of stirred water baths is proving to be a popular addition to Nickel-Electro's Clifton range of temperature control equipment Launched in the UK last year, the NE4-D/CT series of digital thermostatic stirrers with acrylic tanks are designed for the immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in a highly stable temperature environment throughout the water bath

The sturdy clear acrylic tank allows observation of samples, complete with a stainless steel shelf designed for good water circulation and water temperature stability.

The range is available in three popular sizes - 8 litre, 14 litre and 22 litre - ensuring a suitable size for a variety of applications, and is supplied complete with a digital stirrer unit and stainless steel mounting bridge.

Unit features include temperature range ambient from +5C - 99C but accessory cooling allows operation to 0C.

There is also a highly visible 3-digit display to 0.1C resolution, an over-temperature alarm, user resettable safety cut-out and a powerful stirring motor giving excellent temperature stability and uniformity throughout the bath.

Among the accessories are stainless gable lids with insulated handle, a wide range of stainless test tube racks, raised shelves to vary immersion depth, polypropylene spheres to act as a 'floating' lid, and the bridge unit allows use of accessory DC1-300 cooler allowing operation to 0C.
