Interchangeable accessory heads and variable speed control with all the advantages of controlled mixing over a wide speed range

Nickel-Electro is launching the Cyclone+, the next generation of its CM series cyclone vortex mixer The Cyclone+ has interchangeable accessory heads which are quick and easy to change

These allow a wide variety of platforms to be mixed, such as tubes, microplates, flasks and microtubes.

In common with the CM series cyclone vortex mixer - which is still available from Nickel-Electro - the unit has variable speed control with all the advantages of controlled mixing over a wide speed range.

Other benefits of the Cyclone+ include a unique design accessory platform which is autoclaveable, and where accessory platforms are fitted the unit is designed to perform at lower speeds for gentle mixing which reduces damage to cell structures.

The Cyclone+ has two modes of operation set for continuous running or press start operation which is suitable for use with the accessory tube mixing cup with speeds between 200-2800rpm.

Melvin Dickson, managing director of Nickel-Electro says: "The Cyclone+ is an enhanced version of the CM series cyclone vortex mixer and is particularly suitable for use in bio-technological, clinical and pharmaceutical environments".

As with all products in the Clifton range, the Cyclone+ comes with a three year warranty.
