The HT300A delivers many functions to increase accuracy and efficiency: It washes with sample and/or solvents to minimise sample carry-over; It strokes the plunger to eliminate air bubbles; sampling and injection speed is programmable, improving accuracy for viscous samples.
It also has the ability to inject into two different injectors for high-throughput or confirmation mode.
The HT range includes models for liquid injection and headspace sampling.
They can be fitted to virtually any type of gas chromatograph.
They are therefore ideal for cost-effectively automating new, as well as existing equipment.
For headspace sampling, the HT200H is accurate, offers a high specification, yet is cost-effective.
It has a capacity of up to 40 vials of 10 or 20ml.
The injection tower transports each vial inside the six-position incubator, where they are agitated by an orbital shaker at the programmed temperature.
When the sample reaches equilibrium heated gas-tight syringe takes the sample vapour from the vial heaspace and injects it directly into the GC injection port.
After each injection the syringe is automatically purged with inert gas.
To maximise productivity, HT autosamplers overlap sample processing, for example - equilibrating one in the incubator while another is being analysed.
Manual injections can easily be performed, because the injection tower rotates away from the GC injection ports.
The HT autosamplers are compact, saving bench space.
There are also no transfer lines - which can cause dead volume or cold spots.
