Aimed at recent graduates, engineers and technicians involved in the testing of materials, the seminar on 12 October 2005 provides opportunity to speak to industry experts and to network

Testing the toughness of materials will be the subject of a one day seminar organised by Namtec in conjunction with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) Industry experts will introduce delegates to Charpy impact testing, fracture toughness testing, engineering critical assessments and relevant standards, as well as presenting case studies

The seminar will also include a tour of the mechanical testing facilities at the Corus RD and T Swinden Laboratories in Rotherham.

Aimed at recent graduates, engineers and technicians involved in the testing of materials the seminar provides the opportunity to speak to industry experts and to network with different companies.

The seminar will take place on Wednesday 12 October 2005 at Namtec, Swinden House, Rotherham and will cost £65, £35 for concessions.
