Workshops cover nickel and titanium
alloys
Nickel alloy and titanium alloy metallurgy will be the focus of two separate one day workshops to be held in November 2005 at Namtec, Rotherham, UK
The Titanium workshop will be delivered on 16 November 2005 by David Peacock, a founding member of the Titanium Information Group, while the Nickel workshop will be presented by consultants to the Nickel Institute on 30 November The workshops will allow delegates to gain a better understanding of the alloys, their properties and uses
The workshops are aimed at those with some metallurgical or engineering background, but no real knowledge of nickel or titanium and will be of interest to designers, engineers, senior supervisors and technicians and sales personnel, working in the aerospace, defence, automotive, marine, chemical, oil and gas or biomedical industries.
The courses will take place at Namtec's training and conference centre in the newly refurbished Swinden House in Rotherham, UK.
