The MB35 basic level moisture analyser.
In addition to a halogen heating element that performs up to 40% faster than infared technology, the MB35 features a large, 128 x 64 pixel backlit display that shows percent moisture, weight, temperature and time.
Its intuitive software and simple three-key operation allow for easy operation, and the three-language display allows users to display text and results in English, Spanish, or French.
The MB35 also combines a small footprint (19 x 15 x 36cm approx) with a large pan size (9cm diameter) to save users laboratory space in addition to time and effort [dimensions converted from US units - Ed] The MB35 is described as the only moisture analyser in its class that is GLP compliant and features the ability to log results with an optional printer or send data directly to a computer via the RS232 interface.
With a standard capacity of 35g, a readability of 0.005g repeatability of 0.05% (10g sample), the MB35 offers unmatched precision, speed and reliability among basic level analysers.

The MB45 moisture analyser.
The MB45 is ideal for sampling applications in the food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, providing loss on drying results for volatile content in powders, pastes and/or liquids.
The addition of a new statistical function mode for process analysis makes the MB45 an even more effective for applications such as quality control and assurance.
The MB45 does all of the calculations, displays the end results, and will print out the information for recording purposes.
With a standard capacity of 45g, the MB45 moisture analyser has a readability of 0.01% or 0.001g.
The halogen heating technology performs up to 40% faster than infrared drying technology, and allows users to heat samples from 50C to 180C in under a minute.
In addition, the MB-45 incorporates newly developed software applications designed to simplify operation, save time and produce accurate results.
The graphical LCD works in tandem with the software to display % moisture, % solids, temperature, time, a real time drying curve, and more.
The product's integrated database allows users to store up to 50 drying procedures, eliminating the need to enter common drying procedures time after time.
The intuitive graphical interface simply prompts the user to select a programmed procedure and begin, significantly reducing redundant practices and boosting overall productivity.
The MB45 also offers a timer that can be set from 0.1 to 120 minutes to accommodate virtually any moisture analysis procedure, and an audible signal automatically notifies the user when each test is complete.
All Ohaus MB series moisture analyzers are covered by a five-year warranty in the USA and Canada.
