Lab rental for cash-strapped start-ups
Refurbished lab equipment supplied on a loan basis; following 12 months rental period the laboratory can be removed and returned, or purchased
Opti-Pharma UK has announced its decision to enter the rental market Having identified the need for cash-strapped start-up organisations to trim down spending in their first years of trading, the company is providing complete laboratory environments supplied on a buy or return basis

The concept being offered to clients is to provide refurbished equipment on a loan basis; anything from laboratory benching, fume cupboards, class ii safety cabinets, laminar flow cabinets, ovens, balance equipment, etc, can be supplied and installed.
If the client is pushed for space a portable building cabin can be supplied.
Following 12 months rental period the laboratory can be removed and returned, or purchased.
The company says that whether a client is looking to set-up a chemistry lab, analytical lab, micro biology lab or specialist area, it can assist in the supply of vital equipment at a fraction of the new price.
If business succeeds, or needs change, the client is not forced into additional overhead problems in the progressive first years.
