New combined HQ for Olympus UK
Olympus UK is combining its consumer and scientific operations into one headquarters in Watford with the move taking place in phases starting late September 2007
The move is in response to growth in key business areas leading to increased demand for training and demonstration facilities It will see the company's central London and Southall offices close and all functions re-locate to a newly refurbished building close to the M1/M25 motorways

The new premises will be more accessible to customers across the country and boast numerous benefits including new and larger demonstration areas plus more on site training capacity for both scientific and consumer products.

The following business areas are included in the move: scientific: diagnostics and microscopes which will move in stages from late September; and consumer - imaging and voice which plans to be on site by early November.
