Colourful fittings for lab
instrumentation
Compact design makes these flangeless fittings easy to assemble in ports that are closely packed, and a recess in the fitting nut houses the ferrule for maximum thread engagement
New flangeless Omni-Lok fittings from Bio-Chem Valve/Omnifit are designed to connect to shallow 1/4"-28 UNF PTFE ports, such as those in solenoid valves They are also available as part of a pre-assembled PTFE tubing set to be used in laboratory instruments

Distinctively colour-coded, Omni-Lok fittings permanently fit to one or both ends of 1/16" and 1/8" OD sized tubing.
The fittings consist of a robust, glass-filled polypropylene fitting nut and a PTFE, Peek or Tefzel ferrule, with a stainless steel lock ring.
This provides a finger-tight seal ideal for use in solenoid valve ports and other shallow PTFE ports.
The permanently attached ferrules and freely spinning fitting nuts are designed to allow repeated connecting and disconnecting to 1/4"-28 UNF ports.
An inverted cone option allows fast, easy tubing connection, without tools, where the fitting nut is passed over the tubing and the inverted Tefzel cone is fitted onto the tubing end.
The polypropylene fitting nuts are offered in eight different colours for easy line identification.
Their compact design makes them easy to assemble in ports that are closely packed, and a recess in the fitting nut houses the ferrule, ensuring maximum thread engagement and a more reliable tubing connection.
In addition, when tightened, the nut does not twist the tubing.
Combinations of multiple and single tubing sets can be prepared to plumb complete instruments.
The sets enable instrument manufacturers to simplify product assemblies, eliminate assembly errors, ensure leak-free connections and reduce assembly time.
