Aaqueous cleaner can be used for a wide range of precision and critical cleaning applications contains a combination of ingredients that provide seven distinct cleaning actions

Clean cells are the foundation of any spectrophotometric or fluorometric analysis Any residue from previous measurements will cause inaccuracies, reduce sensitivity and impair precision

Starna, a manufacturers of cuvettes and optical components for spectrophotometry, has now introduced CellClean, specially formulated for cleaning these vital components and proven in its own ISO 9001 manufacturing process and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.

Starna CellClean is an aqueous cleaner that can be used for a wide range of precision and critical cleaning applications.

It contains a combination of ingredients that provide seven distinct cleaning actions - lifting, dispersing, emulsifying, sequestering, dissolving, suspending, and decomposing.

CellClean removes oil, grease, resin, tar, wax, biological materials, insoluble oxides, fine particles, and many other residues, not only from glass and quartz, the usual cell materials, but also from surfaces such as ceramics and plastics.

It is also highly effective on many types of filter membranes.

Starna CellClean is a non-toxic, mildly alkaline (typically pH9.5) liquid containing both anionic and non-ionic detergents.

It is not flammable, corrosive or hazardous.

Unused CellClean is environmentally friendly, containing no CFCs, ODCs, phosphates, borates, halogens, silicates, or phenols.

Starna CellClean is supplied as a concentrate in a convenient one litre pack.
