Baculovirus expression, individually
tailored
Oxford Expression Techologies (OET) has launched Baculoxpress, a new comprehensive custom baculovirus expression service that can be tailored to individual requirements
The services available include gene synthesis, PCR cloning, sub-cloning, production of recombinant virus using Flashbac or Flashbacgold virus DNA, optimisation of expression, protein production and purification, and next day virus titration using OET's Baculoquant methodology Each service provides defined deliverables with relevant documentation

"Focusing on providing a complete gene to protein service, Baculoxpress is backed by our extensive R+D programme which has allowed us to expand and develop our contract services business.
"Contract services already account for around 30% of our business and we have recruited specialist consultants to further expand the range of services that we offer".
